Problem Note 44994: Using the Find dialog box to search in the SAS Log window might cause SAS® 9.2 and SAS® 9.3 to stop responding
SAS stops responding when you click the Find Next button when using the Find dialog box to search the SAS Log window.
In SAS 9.2 and SAS 9.3, if the SAS Log window is active and you select Edit ► Find or press CTRL+F to open the Find dialog box, SAS might become unresponsive after you enter the text and click the Find Next button.
The Windows event viewer might contain errors similar to the following:
